Step Meeting

Working the 12 steps of AA may seem impossible for atheists and agnostics. Stony Brook Freethinkers holds a weekly step meeting where non-believers may openly share how they work the steps without a belief in god.  Members often discuss their conception of a higher power, how they turn their will and their lives over, and how they approach prayer, meditation and spirituality.  We display a version of the agnostic steps on one of our shades.
